Worship
We seek to make our worship time with one another creative and beautiful. A place where people can meet with God in prayer and reflection, utilizing a blended mix of hymns and contemporary worship songs. In our services, we seek to exalt and love Jesus alone; a place where sinners are welcome; the gospel is preached; where discipleship happens; and the Word of God is explained through the exposition of the Biblical text, which can then be applied in a relevant, meaningful, and inspirational way. Bible Study
We believe that in order to know God, you must know his Word. For this reason, not only is Bible study a key feature of all our ministries, we also encourage people to be involved in studying the Bible together each week. We would welcome your involvement in any of the following Bible studies. Click on the following link to review available Bible studies.
Discipleship
In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul tells Timothy that “what you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” Here at Foothills, we believe that this is the biblical model that a church ought to follow in seeking to “make disciples” of those who have come to faith in Jesus. Therefore, we follow a one-on-one team discipleship model called CrossTraining to pair older, trained believers with new believers in order to help them grow in their faith. Evangelism
In Matthew 4:19 Jesus said, “’Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.’” Our goal at Foothills is to help every believer become not only a follower of Jesus, but a fisherman for Jesus. To enable us to do that and to reach our community at the same time, we have begun the 4.19 Expedition which is both a strategic plan to reach our world, and a ministry team that will enable us to effectively accomplish it.
