Gospel Project for Kids

The big picture of God's story.

The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study for preschoolers and children that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events - presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Kids will learn that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one big story of God's redemption. Each week, this story will come to life through age-appropriate videos, music, activities, illustrations, activity pages, object lessons, a weekly Big Picture Question & Answer, and Key Passage Memorization. The kids get the first part of the lesson during the Bible Study hour at 9:15 am and the second part of the lesson during the 10:50 worship hour.

  • Babies - Preschoolers meet together in the Preschool Center for Bible Study (9:15) and split into Babies/Toddler and Preschool groups during Preschool Worship (10:50).

  • Kindergartners - 2nd graders meet in the Children's Center for Bible Study (9:15) and join together with the 3rd - 5th graders for large group time. During the Worship Service (10:50), they will join their families in the Worship Center to participate in corporate worship and then will be dismissed to Kids Worship after Children's Time. (Kids Worship does not meet on fifth Sundays. On this day we want children to participate in the entire worship service with their parents and families.)

All children from babies through 5th graders, will learn the same story every week to make reviewing the lessons easy for parents. Resources for Family Discipleship include:
  • Big Picture Cards for Families - These cards are sent home each week and can be used to review the Bible story. They enable families to look at the Bible Story Picture while retelling and explaining the story. Ask the Big Picture Question, and allow children to answer and discuss it. Talk about the Christ Connection and read the Bible passage with your children.
  • Family App - This quarterly app includes family devotionals, videos, activities, music and more which connect with what kids are learning on Sunday mornings. Both a paid and free "lite" version are available.
